Sr. Digital Designer - Email & Social Media Design

  • Perricone MD is a premium skincare and wellness brand founded by dermatologist Dr. Nicholas Perricone, built on the science of inflammation and its role in aging. With a loyal customer base and a clinically credible product line, the brand had the authority - but its digital presence wasn't converting that authority into action.

  • Across email and social media, Perricone MD was struggling to turn brand awareness into measurable engagement. The visual communication felt disconnected from the premium positioning of the products - emails lacked a clear hierarchy that guided customers to convert, and Instagram stories weren't optimized to stop the scroll and drive intent. The brand's scientific credibility wasn't being reflected in the design language, leaving revenue on the table.

  • The goal was to close the gap between brand perception and digital performance. Working alongside the Head of Creative, project managers, and the marketing team, the design approach centered on three principles: visual consistency across every touchpoint, a hierarchy that leads with benefit and closes with action, and a premium aesthetic that mirrors the quality of the products themselves.

    Every asset - from email layouts to Instagram story thumbnails - was built to feel cohesive, intentional, and conversion-aware without sacrificing the brand's elevated tone.

  • Email designs were restructured with a stronger visual hierarchy - leading with high-impact product imagery, supported by concise copy, and closed with clear calls-to-action. Story thumbnails were designed as a unified system that maintained brand recognition across a fast-moving feed. Full Instagram story sequences were crafted to guide viewers through a narrative arc, building desire before presenting the offer.

  • The redesigned email campaigns saw a 32% increase in click-through rate and contributed to a 18% lift in email-attributed revenue within the first quarter of rollout.
